We are currently seeking a Structural Designer for our Towson Maryland office location. This position is entry level to 4 years of experience. Candidates shall possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering and be an Engineer-in-Training (EIT). In addition, prospective candidates shall have a basic understanding of Revit, along with design and modeling programs including RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, RISA-3D, etc.
This is an entry level position for structural design which will allow for professional growth as a structural engineer in all aspects of design of structural systems and building types. This position is responsible for structural design of smaller portions of projects with guidance from the Project Engineer.
While we are not currently hiring for the below engineering positions, we continually accept strong resumes for review. Candidates shall possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering and a Professional Engineer’s (PE) license for the Structural Project Engineer positions and are typically certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for the Structural Designer position. In addition, prospective candidates shall have a basic understanding of AutoCAD and Revit, along with design and modeling programs including RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, RISA-3D, etc.
This position is responsible for technical development and document production for an entire project or a large segment of a large project, including structural system selection, structural design, production of specifications, development of drawings, quality control, coordination with other disciplines, and review of contractor’s submittals and construction conditions. Work would be performed in collaboration with other design team members and provide supervision to Project Engineers and Designers.
