Nicole D. Baer, PEAssociate Principal
Nicole has been designing building structures since her graduation from the Pennsylvania State University Architectural Engineering program in 2001. Her project experience ranges from single-story retail and residential structures to 30-story, multi-use structures, including rehabilitation, renovation and restoration projects. Nicole has been involved in building design from start to finish, working with clients in the schematic phases and seeing projects through construction to final completion. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to design both private and public sector projects. Nicole is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and has served as a board member or coordinator for the organization’s Structural Engineering Institute Maryland Chapter for more than 10 years. She believes that supporting engineering and science students is a critical contribution all engineers should make. She regularly volunteers to help with outreach programs such as the regional Future Cities competition, the Maryland Wood Bridge Challenge and many STEM/science fairs and school career days.
