Design for a 4-star quality, full-service convention-oriented headquarters hotel on a 4.5-acre City-owned site north of Oriole Park at Camden Yards featuring a total of 883,000 gsf, 21-stories, 750 guest rooms, 62,000 sf of ballroom and meeting space, 600-spaces of structured parking, street level retail, outdoor public spaces and an enclosed pedestrian bridge across Howard Street connecting the facility to the Baltimore Convention Center. Structural design for this $250M, design-build project involved conventionally reinforced two-way concrete flat plate construction.
