Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing Expansion
This 42,000 GSF expansion of the Pinkard Building was integral to accommodate Johns Hopkins University’s School of Nursing transition from an undergraduate program to a graduate and PhD nursing program. A five-story addition includes study spaces for students, a cafe, administrative and faculty spaces to promote collaboration, an expanded conference and event space, new centers for research and technology-rich learning spaces. A renovation of 36,000 GSF of the Pinkard Building features a transparent skin to create a welcoming learning environment. The School of Nursing won an Excellence in Design Award from AIA Baltimore.
