Towson University West Village Housing Barnes and Marshall Halls

Two new $70M towers in Towson’s West Village provide vibrant loft-style apartments to retain upper-class students on campus and compete with off-campus market-rate housing. The towers work with an existing residence hall to form a significant outdoor open space for student interaction and gathering. The 327,000 GSF complex provides 700 beds in apartments with a mix of two and four bedrooms, each with a kitchen, living room and shared bathrooms with common areas and study rooms available on every floor. Barnes and Marshall Halls are LEED Gold Certified, adding to the University’s commitment to sustainable building practices.
