University of Maryland Physical Sciences Complex

Design of a $111M, 158,000 sf facility housing state-of-the-art research labs, offices, conference rooms, lounge and other support space for the Departments of Physics and Astronomy and the Institute for Physical Sciences and Technology. The new facility is adjacent and connected to the Computer and Space Science Building.  This project required specialized design for distinct floor framing areas and vibration concerns.
