101 North Clematis Street

West Palm Beach, FL

Design of a $40M, 100,000 sf, five-story mixed-use building with ground level retail and four levels of residential space; 165,000 sf, eight-story concrete parking garage. 101 North Clematis is the centerpiece of the ongoing downtown redevelopment in West Palm Beach, located along the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. The structure is a priority system of precast concrete soffit beams and cast-in-place concrete.

101 York Road

Baltimore, MD

Located just south of central Towson, this mixed-use student housing development adjacent to Towson University will change the face of the neighborhood. This new $57.2M, 13-story, 498,500 gsf project will provide 248 residential units expected to house 611 students, 10,000 gsf of street level retail and a 187,5000 gsf, 495-space parking garage.

Centerpoint

Baltimore, MD

Mixed-use development in downtown Baltimore consisting of a 315,000 sf, 17-story tower containing residential, parking and retail space. The complex features a 10-story, 210,000 sf parking garage on the corner of West Fayette and North Howard Streets, expanding outside of the tower, including a rooftop pool, lower level courtyard and a partial basement where the service yard is accessed from the street. Structural elements involved transfer girders fashioned to allow circulation in the service yard, garage entrance, corner retail entrance, along with new foundations to address the subway tunnel running across and adjacent to the site.

East Liberty Place South

Pittsburgh, PA

Following on the completion of East Liberty Place North, the design began anew for the site across the street, which would become East Liberty Place South, a LEED Gold Certified building. This 56,000 sf facility – the second of two affordable housing projects – includes a four-story mixed-income development on the former Penn Circle site and contains 56 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The South building gave the community a spacious multi-purpose room and a public art installation, both of which were shaped by neighborhood input with much of the project’s construction being awarded to local businesses.

Marriott Springhill Suites Hotel

Conversion of historic 11-story, 63,000 sf Maryland Trust Building to a suites hotel in downtown Baltimore.

Design and construction of a several new and renovation of five existing (Tener, Brumbaugh, Stuart, Pinchot, and Stone) multi-story, facilities, totaling $151M and 1,993 beds.

University of Maryland Dorchester Hall Renovation

College Park, MD

Renovation of a four-story, 35,500 sf, concrete framed residence hall constructed in 1959. Improvements include installation of a new elevator, updated and reconfigured bathrooms, HVAC replacement, infill constructions where necessary and ADA improvements.

Waverly Woods Condominiums

Marriottsville, MD

Two, multi-story wood frame condominium buildings: (1) 48,000 sf, four-story with 25 units and ground level parking, and (2) 34,000 sf, four-story with 18 units.

Waypointe

Norwalk, CT

A 130,000 sf, mixed-use development to include two stories; two levels of below grade parking; retail center with mezzanine; 72,000 sf, five-story apartment building constructed above a portion of the retail space and loading dock area. The garage provides parking which can be accessed from grade at both levels.
