June 9, 2017 was a beautiful day in State College, PA for the ground breaking ceremony of 310 Innovation Boulevard at Penn State University’s Innovation Park. A first for Penn State and Innovation Park, 310 Innovation Boulevard is a 27,500 square foot, flexible-use building with space for research and laboratories, offices and light assembly areas. It is also one of the first projects to utilize tilt-up construction in the area.
Currently, more than one-third of the building’s available space will be occupied by Morgan Advanced Materials’ Carbon Science Center of Excellence. Morgan’s partnership with the university is the first global industrial partnership of Invent Penn State. Completion is expected in December of 2017.
