In July of 2019, the construction team topped off the steel structure for CCBC’s new health building. In October of 2020, the campus was happy to officially open the building with a virtual ribbon cutting ceremony. The 120,000 square foot 4 story structure is composite steel construction that will provide the campus of the Community College of Baltimore County, CCBC, with cutting-edge technology, labs, classrooms and an inter-professional simulation center for hundreds of students.
Sandra Kurtinitis, CCBC’s president, provided celebratory remarks to elected officials and distinguished guests. Maryland governor Larry Hogan provided congratulations to everyone involved in the completion of the project. The building is named in honor of Carol Diane Eustis, who served as dean for CCBC’s School of Health Professions for 12 years and had an impressive career at CCBC Essex that lasted over 45 years. A plaque of dedication was presented to Carol Diane Eustis’s family.
