Stephanie led a presentation/panel discussion on behalf of the Structural Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Business Practice’s Committee during the 2017 Structures Congress in Denver, Colorado. The structures congress is the Structural Engineering Institute’s (SEI) premier yearly event to learn about cutting-edge knowledge and innovative solutions in the structural engineering profession.
The session and panel discussion featured a look at leadership criteria and leadership transition planning approaches and challenges in structural engineering firms. The presentation portion of the session included results of a recent survey research compiled and analyzed by SEI’s Business Practices Committee. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion with industry leaders on the topic. A .pdf version of the presentation portion of the session is available here.
Stephanie was also honored to lead her first in-person committee meeting as the new Business Practices Committee chair in conjunction with this years’ Structures Congress.
